Can you leave your car at a cruise port?

While leaving your car in the sun next to the salt water at the port is an option, the smartest choice is parking it with us Indoors at Patriot Cruise Parking. Even if you choose to park your vehicle in our outdoor area, your vehicle will be much better shielded from the sun by our building than it would by parking it in a completely open lot. Can you park oversized vehicles?

Got a big ride? You’re in the right place. At Patriot Cruise Parking, our expansive facility is tailor-made for oversized vehicles, boasting generous parking spots and maneuvering space. Whether you’re rolling in with a larger-than-life vehicle or a dual wheel truck, we’ve got you covered.

Can I walk to the cruise terminal?

Walking across Harborside Drive from this facility to the cruise terminal with lots of luggage and family members isn’t recommended. The safety of parking in our protected facility and traveling to the cruise terminal with your family and luggage in a cool shuttle bus seems like a much better idea.

Do I park my own vehicle?

Yes, you will park your own vehicle. However, our friendly staff will be on hand to guide you to your designated parking spot.

How do I cancel my parking reservation?

We understand that plans can change, and we’re here to assist you with a hassle-free cancellation process. If you did not purchase trip cancellation insurance from Patriot Cruise Parking, to cancel your parking reservation, please send an email to manager@patriotcruiseparking.com, indicating your intent to cancel your parking reservation. There will be a very nominal processing fee of $25. Should you decide to cancel up to 48 hours before your reserved parking slot, the nominal fee of $25.00 will be charged. Please purchase trip cancellation insurance with Patriot Cruise Parking. Regrettably, we are unable to issue refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled parking time. This is why it’s so important to purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance. We recommend optimizing your reservation to make the most of your parking experience.

Is indoor parking available for everyone?

Patriot Cruise Parking exclusively caters specifically to cruise customers. Unlike some competitors, we do not offer public parking. Our facility is dedicated solely to enhancing the cruise experience for our valued cruise customers but please understand that do to the popularity of our offering, rates, and location, our facility will fill up so please do not hesitate in purchasing your cruise parking space through our website prior to the day of your cruise (and don’t forget to purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance for the ultimate peace of mind.

Do I need to make a reservation for handicap parking?

While reservations are not required for handicap parking, we recommend informing our attendant that you will need Handicap Parking. Handicap spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring fairness and accessibility.

Does Patriot Cruise Parking offer Electric Vehicle (EV) charging?

Not at this time. We are committed to sustainability and offer cutting-edge Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations through our sister company www.portparking.com where EV service is complimentary and exclusively available to all our valued customers.

How do I buy Cancellation Insurance when reserving my space?

Simply Select the Cancellation Insurance option at the time of your reservation to safeguard your investment and enjoy greater flexibility in case of any unexpected cancellations prior to arriving at our facility. Please note: Cancellation insurance does not cover cancellations resulting from customers being denied boarding by the cruise liners and/or The Port of Galveston.
